Feed enters
Material drops in through the top inlet into the milling chamber, where the rotor spins at speed.
Industrial swing-hammer rotor with hardened tip carriers and screen-controlled discharge — the most forgiving platform in the THOR line, built for tonnage and seasonal duty.
A hammer mill breaks solid feed by swinging hardened hammers against it inside a sealed chamber. Particles exit only when they fit through a perforated screen — a self-classifying mechanism that locks the maximum particle size to the screen you choose.
It is the most forgiving size-reduction platform on a factory floor: tolerant of moisture, fibre and tramp metal, simple to clean, and built to run a full shift without intervention.
The same mechanical principle as ten thousand mills before it — refined for uptime, sealed for hygiene, instrumented for the floor.
Material drops in through the top inlet into the milling chamber, where the rotor spins at speed.
Free-swinging, hardened hammers — tip speed up to 110 m/s — fracture the feed by impact and attrition.
Particles fine enough to pass the perforated screen exit; oversize stays in the chamber until it fits.
Every THOR mill uses the same control system — easy to learn, easy to service, easy to scale across your factory.
Whether you run a Pin Mill or a Jet Mill, the controls, alarms and data feeds work the same way. Train once. Operate anywhere.
Our mills connect easily to your existing factory systems — no special software required.
